DREAMING
 Carrie in her unconscious state dreams of smooching Ausdumb,
as Dr
Mike simultaneously dreams of smooching Carrie. Drawn to each other instinctively
the two not-yet lovers turn to each other
locking lips hungrily. The passionate kiss over, Carrie returns to
shaking and shivering, and Mike shuns the warmth of the blanket to expose
his biceps and frown. Did he just smooch in his sleep with the
shivering Carrie?
I'll get you out of this
Carrie, Dr Mike promises. As soon as this storm is over, I'm going
to find help.
SAMI & KATE
 Scami's
keen to impress upon Kate the necessity for her to do the right thing and
support her case for reuniting with Ausdumb. Kate's disgusted that Scami's
blackmail has led to this, but there is too much at stake. Her children
would never talk to her again if they knew of her manipulations and her
past as a hooker. Deeds that Scami takes the opportunity to remind Kate of
yet again.
GETTING TESTY
 Kristen
is getting testy. If you have a cure for Roman, she warns, you'd
better start putting your plan into action soon! Roman is going to
die of synthetic germ warfare unless you act.
Chuckling, Stefano reassures
Kristen. I do indeed have a plan, and am currently putting it in
action. I can't tell you what it is, as the less you know, the
better. Suffice to say that I'm confident at the end of the process, you
will have John, and I will have Marlena.
ERIC AND AUSTIN
 Ausdumb
has tried again to reach Carrie without success on her cell phone, and looks
decidedly glum. Eric,
taking time to smell the roses in someone else's backyard, is flummoxed
when Ausdumb tells him of his intentions to remarry Scami for the sake of MuteWill. Frowning Eric tries
to tell Ausdumb of Carrie's love for him, but Ausdumb shakes his head,
raising a rueful grin. Carrie is in love with Dr Mike now, he
instructs. And you know that's okay because Mike is a lot better for
her than me. Fortunately, it's Salem so therefore a man is never
alone for long - there's always another female hanging alongside - not a
true love mind you, but someone spare. I'll take that opportunity
with Scami now.
Not being long enough in Salem
yet to form a love triangle, Eric is however understanding. Whatever
you decide Ausdumb, he sighs. I hope you'll be happy. A man's
gotta do, what a man's gotta do, Ausdumb thinks heroically as he summons
the courage to tell Scami that she's won such a prize.
SPLUTTER
Scami's visiting with the spluttering Roman, where the roller coaster
invalid reveals one of several dying wishes. He wished he had been
there to walk his daughters down the aisle. Of course, if he lives
long enough he may be fortunate to see Carrie and Dr Mike marry,
but Scami looks thoughtful. Could a plan be in the development
phase?
HOPE & STEFANO
With no modelling assignments, her job at the Salem PD down the toilet,
and worse still - NO MAN in sight, it's obvious Hopeless needs
diversion. What better than to utilise those skills learned as an
officer of the Salem PD and interrogate the man responsible for the Brady
family's ongoing misfortune? Smiling, Stefano is pleased to see her.
Ah Gina! he grins, before realising his mistake. I'm sorry - I think
of you as Gina from when you were my guest at Maison Blanche.
Sneering, Hopeless manages to
raise a puzzled brow and flaring nostrils in an admirable display of
facial callisthenics. I'm not here to see you! she spits. I'm
here to interrogate you and find out what evil scheme you have planned
next.
Now that Hopeless has shown
all her cards in her clever interrogation, Stefano has his fun. I'm
going to see to it that BozoCop returns to you Hopeless, he
promises. What secret do I have on you Stefano? Hopeless squints
suspiciously. Why would you promise to do something for me unless
there was something in it for you?
I know something don't I? asks
Hopeless riotously as Stefano remains non-committal. The jury is out
on that question, as Hopeless toddles temporarily defeated towards the
door.
BO & BILLIE
 After
a thousand cappuccinos at a thousand roadside cafés, BozoCop has
miraculously found Billieboob in a party mood at the Fortuna Club, Rome's
seediest nightclub establishment. Although initially pleased that Bozo has
tracked her down, Billieboob remembers how worthless she truly is, and
suggests Bozo beats it quick smart back to Hopeless in Salem.
 But
Bozo persists and for a minute it seems Billieboob will relent, until she
tires of Bozo's stony expression, and grabs the nearest
man available to Lambada, leaving Bozo standing forlorn and alone.
No point squabbling with the silly woman, he reasons thinking she looks
tired. I'll leave her to her partying, while I head back to work
things out with Hopeless.
VISIONS
 Sexy
Lexie has paraded Celeste out to Salem headquarters for a brief
visionary warning. Stefano will get out of jail! John and
Commander Amiable Abe are sceptical. Why they personally made
Stefano's chamber with their own sweat and calloused hands. It's
escape proof!
Celeste is adamant.
Stefano will be getting out of jail, and it won't be a friend that will be
helping him. It will be his enemy!
That statement gives John and
Amiable pause for thought as they scratch each other's noggins in
puzzlement, before turning and viewing Celeste with crinkled foreheads.
HOPE & KRISTEN
 Back
from her less than successful interrogation of The Stef, Hopeless has
stopped by headquarters to report her non-findings to Amiable Abe and John
(recently deputised with a "go anywhere do anything"
badge). As Kristen steps out, Hopeless stops her. How
could you be so evil/nasty/horrible/incorrigible/mean? Hopeless demands.
I did what I had to do to win
back John's love, Kristen counters before hitting Hopeless with a
zinger. At least I'm still trying, which is more than I can say for
you - you just let Bozo go without a fight.
Food for thought indeed, as
Hopeless and her eyebrow tango.
MOM'S ADVICE
 Kate
finishes her lecture while hating herself and Scami for the position in
which she's found herself.
I think that you should do
what you believe is right as a father of MuteWill, she sighs.
Ausdumb agrees. Mom, I'm
going to ask Scami to marry me again, for MuteWill's sake. I want to
be a good father.
AUSTIN'S PROPOSAL
 Ausdumb
has called Scami to the garden. I want you to know that I don't love
you, and that my heart is forever with another woman, he begins
romantically. It's enough to make a woman swoon, however, Ausdumb's
not finished. It's important for me to be a good father to
MuteWill, he tells her, and give him the type of family environment that I never
had. So, remembering of course that I don't find you attractive at
all, and that I will never, ever sleep with you, and that as I said, I'm in love
with another woman, will you marry me?
Oh Ausdumb! Scami screeches
excitedly at this proposal of sorts. Of course I will!
JOHN AND STEFANO
 Sucked
in to The Stef's vortex of deception, Deputy John Black flashes his go
anywhere do anything badge for a private audience with the pudgy tycoon. So DiMera, John
croaks suspiciously. What's your evil scheme this time?
It's not a scheme John, it's
an offer. An offer of Roman's life. I know where a cure can be
found for Roman Brady.
