THE SLAVE
REBELS
 Ivan
and Vivian have had a hellish night in their "new" apartment now
that Vivian's finances have plummeted to zero.
Tensions escalate
as Ivan has had enough. Madam is no longer paying him, therefore he is
no longer going to do her bidding.
He's found a job
clearing garbage, and he suggests Madam also seek employment.
 And
while they're at it, Madam is not going to spend one more night having the bed
on her own. From now on they either share the bed, or take turns
sleeping on the floor.
 Before
he sets off to work, Ivan hands Vivian some envelopes. This is all the
money I have in the world, he tells her seriously. And I have divided it
into envelopes. Rent, food, utilities.
Rolling her eyes
as he leaves, Vivian scoffs. He's treating me like a child! she
snorts. If there is one thing I understand - it's money! Now, the
first thing I have to think of, is how to make some?
PATHETIC
 The
secrets held over many months, have finally tumbled from Ausdumb's lips and
Scami is devastated.
I don't want to
hurt your feelings, agonises Ausdumb, his eyes rolling distractingly in 360
degree circles.
I'll try to break
this to you as carefully and compassionately as I can. I never loved
you. I married you only due to circumstance. I love another woman.
I will never love you. Ever. Without a doubt Ausdumb has missed
his calling to the diplomatic corps and yet seems surprised as Scami continues
to cause a scene.
 But
Ausdumb, Scami weeps, you've been together with me constantly, you wouldn't
have had time for another woman!
Are you sure she
still loves you after all this time?
After all Ausdumb,
we're a family! And we could be happy! We have been happy haven't
we Ausdumb?
 Feeling
captive, Ausdumb needs to escape, leaving devastation in his wake.
I'm sorry Scami,
but I have to go, he mumbles as he flees out the door, with Scami calling
desperately.
Ausdumb, Ausdumb,
please come back!!
ROMAN CONFESSES
 Marlena
has disappeared to talk to Carrie on the WFAAA jet phone, and Roman leans
forward conspiratorially. I've got to admit, he sighs, that although I
was prepared that you and Marlena would be together John, I'm so pleased it
turned out this way. You are obviously in love with Kristen who's an
angel, and although I don't have much time left, I love Marlena. I
always have and I always will. I'm still in love with her.
Squinting and
temporarily speechless, John looks over the table at Roman raising a
reluctantly watery smile, as Kristen beams. Oh that is so romantic! she
giggles girlishly. Isn't that wonderful honey? she smiles as she grasps
hold of John's arm. Marlena will be delighted to hear that I'm sure!
MARLENA RETURNS
 Marlena
returns from her jet plane communication with Carrie, and is concerned when
Roman starts to cough up a lung. I think I might have overdone it with
the dancing, Roman admits.
Kristen? asks John
taking command. You take Roman upstairs to bed, I want to have a word
with Marlena.
CHECKING IN
 Arriving
at the LA hotel, there of course is a problem. No room available for Dr
Mike due to an administrative error, however they can put an extra bed in
Carrie's room. Although Mike's reluctant, Carrie is okay with it.
We used to all stay in the one room when the Brady's and the Horton's went to
the Horton Cabin! she tells him. That's fine! Flicking through the
magazine, she looks surprised. Wow! she breathes. You did that
poll and you got a score of 93! Who's this girl you're in love
with?
Smiling
sheepishly, Mike looks down. Nobody, he says, airily. Just
thinking of my perfect mate.
MIKE'S FRIEND
 Looking
through the list of people at the conference, Mike sighs. Oh no, he
groans. Craig Wesley!
Explaining, he
tells Carrie of his competitive friendship with Craig. Craig was No.1 in
the class, Mike was No. 2, Craig got the girl Mike wanted, Craig was always on
top.
However, Mike
admits, Craig is an outstanding specialist in the field of bacterial medicine,
so I'm hoping that get some real insight from him while we're at the
conference.
KRISTEN'S
ADVICE
 With
Roman now back in bed, Kristen smiles. I think it's so wonderful that
you still love Marlena, Kristen tells him. I think you should tell her
as soon as possible. She'll be so delighted. You're a wonderful
friend to Marlena, Roman says full of admiration. Oh! we're like that!
smiles Kristen crossing two fingers together.
WARNING
 John
wants to give Marlena the heads up. While you were gone, Roman said he
was in love with you.
 As
Marlena and John start to embrace, Kristen appears. Roman wants to see
you, she quips.
CRAIG WESLEY
 Mike
welcomes Craig Wesley into his room, and Craig looks around. You must
have made something of yourself, he says as Mike smiles modestly. Well
I'm on staff at University Hospital, they paid for this room. Oh, nods
Craig his face falling. I paid for mine myself, but I can afford it, I
manage a whole hospital department now.
So are you
married? asks Craig. No, I was, Mike admits, and I have a wonderful son
Jeremy. Oh well, smiles Craig with an air of superiority. I have a
terrific wife, you must meet her; her name is Missy. (Note: For those of you who are going to
tell me that Craig is married to Nancy in the states - I know. But Craig
says Missy. Click here to see and hear the

 In
the next room unpacking her suitcase, Carrie becomes interested in the
conversation and starts to listen to Craig playing
"one-upmanship." So, smiles Craig, still interested in
cars? Oh yes, brightens Mike. I just bought a 1959 red Chevy
convertible. Yeah? nods Craig appreciatively, that's great. I have a
Ferrari and a Porsche.
Fuming inwardly at
the way Craig is playing games, Carrie strides out to Mike. Darling! she
shrills planting a kiss on the highly startled Mike. I didn't realise
you'd come back in!
 As
Craig looks at Carrie appreciatively, Carrie cuddles up to Mike.
 You
shouldn't leave me so long honey! she simmers. I missed you!
 As
Mike thinks all his Christmas' have come at once, he looks bemused as
Carrie continues with her act. So, she smiles, turning to
Craig. Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend darling?

ROMAN'S IN
TROUBLE
 As
Marlena sits by Roman's bed, his hand begins to shake.
That's okay, says
Marlena soothingly. Just keep calm Roman.
Too late as Roman
starts to get a case of terminal hiccups gasping for air and convulsing on the
bed.
Quick! roars
Marlena as John comes into the room. Call 911!!
 Oh
my God! Kristen whispers as she stands by the door. Roman is going to
die!
