NO NO!
Marlena's gasping to the point of asphyxiation. No! she gasps.
You can't do it! (gasp). You can't let The Stef free! (gasp). You
can't risk your life again!
Doc I have to! explains
John. The Brady's have been like a family to me. Even when
they found out I wasn't Roman Brady, they've continue to love me and treat
me as a son. I can't let Roman die and not have tried to save him.
 Everything
will be alright, he whispers as Marlena squeezes out a wayward tear. I'm
going to approach Commander Amiable Abe and see if he can have a word to
the D.A. We've got to give ourselves the chance to make Roman well again.
SNAKE BITE
 As
Mike stares in horror at the snakebite on his arm, he gives Carrie a quick medical
presentation. Not all snakebites have venom in them. I may be
alright he says....
 right
before fainting.
Oh gosh what to do? panics
Carrie, before gaining the clarity of a former candy striper. Must
get help quickly, and apply pressure to the bitten area.
As luck would have it, the tow
truck drivers have arrived. Take me to the doctor we were going to
visit at the top of this hill! she commands. There's no time to
lose!
ERIC IS SUSPICIOUS
 Eric
has watched carefully as Scami panics over Lucas looking at MuteWill's
baby book details. What is wrong Scami? Eric asks as Scami
scowls. Nothing! she whines. What? are you spying on me now
Eric?
THE DEAL REJECTED
Commander Amiable Abe can't believe his ears when John approaches him with
the The Plan. Are you kidding me? asks Abe. There's no way I'm
going to drop all the charges, and I'm not going to ask the DA does
too! The man is in for life in prison!
But this is for your buddy,
your partner! pleads John. Please? Roman could be cured. At
least just ask the District Attorney. Sighing, Abe's shoulders droop
as he makes his way to the phone. I'll ask, but that's all I can do,
he says, as John looks hopeful.
THE GERM DOCTOR
 The
Germ Doctor is fortunately at home, and dispenses the appropriate
medication for Mike to recover. Looks like you did all the right
things and saved Mike's life! the doctor tells Carrie approvingly the
former candy striper glows with pride.
 Have
you had time to look at my father's medical charts? asks Carrie
hopefully. Is there some way you could help him?
Yes by golly, the doctor
smiles. I think I can. It's not a cure, but we've had good
success delaying the onset of the disease with a cocktail of drugs.
I'll write out the prescription for you to take back to Salem.
DREAMING
 Roman
observes Marlena mistaking her distress at the Stefano story for
tiredness. Here you go Doc, he says opening
his arms. Just snuggle right down here on my chest.
Slightly uncomfortable,
Marlena agrees, and settles in closing her eyes, and dreaming....
 ......of
making love with John.....
Oh John, she groans in her
slumber as Roman frowns and wonders.....
HOPEFUL
 Mike's
feeling a little better, and Carrie tells him of Dr Germ's
information. He is writing the prescription now! She must call home
and tell Ausdumb, she's on her way back!
 Unable
to reach Ausdumb at the apartment, she calls the Geriatricakis mansion
where Scami answers.
Shocked to hear Carrie was
returning so soon, Scami decides to drop her bombshell.
 I'm
so pleased you found something for dad, Scami smiles, but it's a shame you
won't be here in Salem by tomorrow afternoon.
Ausdumb and I will be
renewing our wedding vows at St Lukes Church. It's one of daddy's wishes
to see his daughters down the aisle. Isn't that wonderful
Carrie?
